St John’s prides itself as being a family friendly church that is very fortunate in having an active and ever growing group of young people that number around 100. The children’s groups at St John’s describe themselves as ’The Light Club’.
The children go out from the morning services to their groups for activities based round a biblical theme, and rejoin their parents at the end of the service. On a rotational basis one of the groups describe to the rest of the church from up front ion the service what they have done and learnt together that morning.
The Light Club consists of six children’s groups, all of which have Leaders and Helpers and all parents are encouraged to return to the service if possible. |
