St.John's Church, Grove Green - An ecumenical partnership serving the needs of the Grove Green and Weavering communities

Church Giving: At the last council meeting it was agreed that St John’s should consider new charities in need of our support. If you know of any worthwhile charities close to your heart which you wish to be considered for future giving, please let a member of the council know.

Café Style Service: In response to the positive feedback to our Café Style services, we will now be runnning them on a regular basis. Please come along and enjoy the fellowship over a cuppa - and invite your friends too! For a full program of events can be seen in our online Diary

Prayer Walking: A couple of people are urgently needed to join the prayer walking team to help out for a few months. It only takes an hour or so once a month on a Saturday morning, when we call on houses in two or three roads, to ask if they have any prayer requests. If you feel able to help with this, please contact June Fuller.

Rota of Preachers: Glenys has arranged regular visiting preachers for St Johns over the next few months. The rota is available to view on the notice board.

SOLD: Do you live on Grove Green? Is there a house "FOR SALE" on your road or near where you live? If so, please make a note of when the "SOLD" sign goes up and pass the address on to one of the Church Council members, who will make a visit to the new occupants. This is a great way to welcome people to Grove Green and introduce them to the church.
